Sponsorship Task
ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup took over India in October-November 2023. As Official Accommodation Partner Booking.com were present in stadium and online to demonstrate the choice and ease of the platform driving awareness to its growth audience and key markets.
Activation Strategy
Booking.com, via their global agency CSM (now Wasserman), enlisted Square Consulting as their Lead Agency to support the drive for reach and awareness in India via the following work streams:
- Non-stop action: All 48 games, across 10 cities, over seven weeks, with three months of pre-planning
- On ground activation ideation & delivery: Catch a Stay activation delivered 42 winners across all 48 matches at 10 stadiums with the support of our local delivery partner Square Consulting. While ICC social amplification achieved 2.7M+ in reach for the brand.
- Rights management incl. in-stadium branding: Branding design for the partnership, for clarity and visibility to an audience of over 518million viewers (India only)
